DARE TO DREAM - DARE TO REALIZE IT !!!

The achievers have always said ‘Dare to Dream’. I do believe in that and follow that too. Not alone I, every one of us do that. Then why can’t all of us be the biggest achievers of our time. There’s always a ‘secret key’ to success, which no winner has explicitly mentioned in their quotes and advices. They did not hide it but just that they forgot to complete what they had to say. ‘Dare to dream & Dare to do what you dreamt’. Everything that you do to realize your dream, counts. You just dreamt that you’re going to have a good day ahead, you put the right things in the right place, do it at the right time and be around with the right people, your day gets good – you realized your dream. You made it come true coz achievement really isn’t quantifiable.

There was a person, who had a nice settled life in the place where he was born and brought up. Stepping out of the comfort zone, he decided to fly high like the eagle, the next stop was Sydney. The Kangaroo land did not have its wide arms spread to invite him with a warm hug. Nevertheless his more than sibling buddies were eagerly awaiting him. Entirely new life, totally new place, astonishingly diverse people, tremendously fast life, consciously eerie surroundings, precisely the kind of place he never visualized in his dreams. Rejecting the job offers, Ignoring the interview calls, Demanding a door knocking offer, Expecting a folds pay hike – a tight slap by his conscious when he thinks about all these pasts when he is actually applying for every kind of job with a pure expectation of the amount of money that will earn his next day’s bread. Good with computers, better with writing, best with his feet to dance, knocked every door, pleaded every boss, persuaded every interviewer, begged every caller – Tears rolling on his cheeks – A slap again by his conscious – coz it’s not the time to cry and crib – it’s time to try and fight.

He put in his resumes, showed them his videos, provided his photos, talked about his talent – doors hut – as tight as possible such that his voice goes mute to the ears of the employers (the proud dance school owners). Not a warrior who is born to fight – Just another ordinary human who has just got his fate to fight. Though he could not earn bucks for his performances, he always gained appreciations which he treasured more than the currencies. The day came when he realized that it’s not enough if one just keeps dreaming coz he had dreamt for a decade but nothing much happened about it. He had all the potential and skills to realize his dream but even then it did not happen. He slipped into the shoes of an achiever by doing nothing other than keeping his foot forward and firm, standing against the odds and establishing himself.

Without a penny in his pocket, without an inch of a place to start an office, without a single employee in the company, without the smallest awareness around that something exists, this ordinary man started his first ever venture partnering with one more aspiring individual. The dance company that he started won several attentions online – he knew which the right spot was – he had gotten the keys for the locks out there – from then on there’s no looking back. He has not done something what Mr. Gates or Mr. Zuckerberg did, but he did the same what they did to realize their dream. As I always believe – achievement is scaled by the level of satisfaction that the aspirer gets. Today he receives calls – emails – online ads – requests and enquiries on the web – now a TIGHT SLAP on each of his cheeks by his conscious – you still are no more a candidate knocking doors – people are knocking yours – go and open it now. Every night now when he goes to sleep – he thanks all his hardships in his life who all have given him nightmares and dreams together that urged him to learn from the nightmares and realize the dreams.

A FRIEND IN NEED IS A FRIEND INDEED

A bondage that is so strong since my early childhood. He was my life savior and I will say he has been one of my best friends and companions ever. The one to whom I have talked the most in my life. He never got bored of my stupid talks and blabbering. Sometimes I just yell and scream at him but he still has maintained the calmness and preserved the coolness in him. As like I was the only son, he too was one. People used to make fun of us as we were loners in their perception but actually we were one body two souls. A little strange to hear but that was the fact. He was not normal by nature but he was so sweet. Whenever he is there with me, people would make fun of me for tagging him along. Despite of all these, never have I regretted his presence with me. Rather than getting pissed at the people who made fun, he asked me to talk less or rather not talk at sometimes. The whole credit of me being a good writer today goes to him. He made me write my thoughts and emotions that I wanted to tell and share it with anyone. He filled the vacuum space that existed in my loneliness with loads and loads of scriptures. The same people who did not like me because of his companionship once upon a point started liking my writings and poems without knowing that he is the core backbone behind all these.

Once I gained the confidence of expressing my thoughts, I started to speak out to people. The only time I forget him totally is when I’m singing. I totally lose myself and will have no idea about his presence or whereabouts. As days passed by, I started making more and more friends and turning into a total chatterbox and in parallel, my dear old friend started getting isolated from me with rare meet ups. Even then, he never missed important situations like my seminars, interviews and speeches. He ensured his presence strongly and filled my nostalgia with his tremendous influence. At one point of time, I betrayed him very badly when I had to choose between my career and friendship, I had to leave him at least for my future and my parent’s long time wish. The moment he left me, plates started turning around and my career took a jet flow. From thereafter, there was no looking back and everything was just zipping through the wind with a midas touch in my career. The only thing that I was missing was the challenge that he had given me to achieve things in my life. When he used to be there, both of us together have faced the challenges and successfully shattered the obstacles and reached the chequered flag with ease.

Though he was not as easy and normal to have him around as a friend, I never complained about him. He was the sign of my intelligence and sharpness of brain. Neither would anyone will get the boon of having such a friend along with them for so long and nor will anyone like a company of him for a long time unlike me. I owe you many of my skills and talents that I have acquired today, which are enjoyed by the people who mocked you once and people who does not even know about your presence anytime in my life.

The dear friend I was talking about all this while was none other than my STAMMERING that I had for almost 15-20 years with me :) Miss you :)

Thoughts redefined !!!

Too much of idleness in my mind has made me write and rewrite certain thoughts I felt within myself. Some of them might be stupid, few of them might be insane and many of them might even be crap - but if atleast one of them helps you make sense - I am happy for it !!! Enjoy the philosophy time !!! :)

Giving up for a stalemate or a tie is like spitting at yo own face for being incapable like your opponent.

The worst gamble you can ever take is on your self confidence.

Never let anyone know what you think, its like ripping off your mind nude.

Confidence & Arrogance differs by a whisker: If you think "I can do it", thats confidence, If you think "I can only do it", thats arrogance.

Never be a puppet, rather be a puppeteer, where you make the puppet dance to your tunes.

If its human to err, its godliness to forgive but just once, coz its stupid to repeat either of it one more time.

Empty vessels make more noise, but they grab the attention that even the filled ones never do.

All that glitters are not gold, but its never wrong to test it once.

Look before you leap, but do not keep on looking.

When there is a will, there is a way and If there's a way, there's destiny.

Well wishers make you live longer but your critics make you live stronger.

Opportunity knocks the door only once, but neva did someone say that was the last knock, so do not regret of missed opportunities.

Opportunity is like an illusion, it all depends upon how and what do you look into it.
